Friday, George Street Co-Op in New Brunswick is hosting The Positive Potluck, which is an often occurrence there! It's a completely vegetarian space, so the food is always vegetarian or vegan. Follow them on Facebook to keep updated with their next event or potluck!
Also on Friday is a tour of the Montclair Whole Foods to better assist those who have questions about shopping as a plant based eater.
This Saturday is the 2nd Annual March Against Fur happening in New York City, hosted by Total Liberation NY. They will be meeting on the steps of the Whole Foods in Union Square at 2:00pm and marching from there. There will be some extra signs available, but it is suggested you bring your own. Rock your loudest vegan shirt, make your sign tell the facts, and get out there and educate New York City!
Sunday is a busy day, with 4 events going on! Starting bright and early, Anonymous for the Voiceless founders, Paul Bashir and Asal Alamdari, will be hosting an online workshop. They will be broadcasting from Instagram and Facebook live, so make sure to get in during the appropriate times to get your comments and questions in! November 3rd is International Cube Day, so this is a very important workshop that will help you prepare! You can find all of the local cubes listed on November 3rd on our events calendar.
Chef's Prep is hosting a Mexican Vegan Pop Up Dinner at Kula Cafe in Asbury Park on Sunday. You can get your tickets for this 5 course meal on Eventbrite.

Vegan in NJ has started a Patreon page and we would love it if you could donate any amount you could. We will be working on setting up tiers as time goes on, but for right now, you will just get access to our feed, where we will be working through ideas and events we plan to host in the future. This will be a great place for you to have your voice heard about how we can make NJ the most vegan friendly place it can be!
Thank you to those who came here via the Try Vegan email blast! If you have no idea what I'm talking about, you can learn more about the Try Vegan empire via their meal delivery (use that link for a free meal!), their food truck, or their clothing line!
